Why So Many Suicide Attacks in Iraq?
Last year on March 23, there were four bombing attacks in the country and out of three were by the suicide bombers only. In April only the suicide attacks took place at the Iraqi police stations, holy places and army bases. From the methodology that the suicide bombers are following now the idea has come out clear that the presence of U.S troops is not annoying the suicide bombers. Most of the times when these suicide attacks happen, the ones who are left injured or dead contains maximum number of U.S troops justifying the basic fact that they are the targets.
Now that the world has forgotten the war that happened in Iraq years back, these suicide bombers are trying to make the U.S troops realize that they have not forgotten any thing and are very much here for a revenge. It is not that the U.S government is not responding to these attacks, but the slow manner that it is following to call back the troops shows sign of withdrawing but on its terms. When Hilary Clinton visited Iraq, she was also very much eager to know about the exact condition of violence here and looking on the statistics of the suicide attacks she said that the rejectionists are now afraid that Iraq would go in the right path.
However, when one looks deeply at these ever increasing number of suicide attacks; one can know that only the presence of the U.S troops is not the reason. The time frame of U.S withdrawing from the region is uncertain and this is what is worrying the suicide bombers more. The withdrawal of U.S from the country is subjected to lot many conditions and factors and it is expected that this is going to take a long time.
Furthermore, U.S is providing its support to the Sunni militia leaders and this is also one more thing that is giving much of that unrest to the suicide bombers. The U.S forces that are present in Iraq have to see that the condition in Iraq is improved on the overall basis, security is there and occupation sources are also present. If this happens, then one can expect that the U.S troops will leave the country soon and the suicide bombings in Iraq will come to a halt.
